DEERFIELD BEACH GREEN MARKET:
The City of Deerfield Beach Cultural Committee is pleased to present the Deerfield Beach Green Market for the 2011-2012 season. The Markets will take place AT THE COVE-IN THE PLAZA. The Market is held out doors. We will present a series of 8 event-driven markets featuring a specific event or group at each market as well as our regular Green Market vendors. There are 3 categories of Green Market Vendors.
1. Single Sunday Vendor $20
2. Seasonal Vendor $120
3. Specialized Market Commercial Business Vendor $40 This special rate is only available for Commercial Business Vendors who are guests of these Specialized Markets.
You, as a vendor are important to us. Happy vendors make for happy customers. To present a pleasant Green market experience please observe the following:
· Appropriate behavior and attire is a must.
· Smoking is prohibited.
· Loud music is not welcomed.
· Cell phone numbers will be provided to each vendor so help and information is a phone call away.
· Vendor parking is well designated and conveniently located adjacent to the Market grounds.
· A site map will be available in advance and at the beginning of each Green Market.
· There is no exclusivity for vendors but we will be fair and reasonable. All Steering Committee decisions are final.
Suggestions are welcomed, participation is encouraged, appreciation relished.

RULES AND TERMS
1. Vendor Attendance: Seasonal commitment mandates consistent attendance. Absenteeism will result in replacement without refund.
2. Set Up and Break Down: You may set up after 6:00 am. Set up must be completed by 7:45 am. Breakdown is not allowed prior to 1 pm and must be completed by 2 pm. Clean up is a must. The alternative is a $100 fee and expulsion without refund if seasonal.
3. Booth Appearance: Vendor space is approx. 10 x10 unless prior authorization is obtained. All booths must present as attractive, clean and orderly with a tent or market umbrella which must be properly weighted. Tables, chairs, signage and clean up tools are the responsibility of the vendor. Scales must meet Fl Dept of Agriculture and Consumer Services requirements. Signage must be contained within booth area. All prices must be clearly visible to the public.
4. Acceptable Products: Are listed at right and are subject to Steering Committee approval. All work must be greenish in nature. The committee reserves the right to reject any unsuitable vendors, to remove a vendor or ask a vendor to leave the market without refund of fee if not compliant.
5. Vendor Vehicles: All vendor vehicles must be removed one half hour prior to market opening. A designated vendor parking area will be available.
6. Spaces: All spaces are assigned by the Steering Committee at their discretion. Preference will be shown toward seasonal vendors when possible. Site plans will be available at commencement of each market. Reserved spaces that are empty one half hour prior to market opening will be reassigned as needed.
7. Responsibility: Each vendor is responsible for his/her own property in the event of loss, damage or personal injury.
8. Market Hours: 8am to 1pm. Vendors must exhibit during scheduled market hours. Leaving early will mandate that the vendor is ineligible for admission to future markets. “No shows” will not be allowed to return.
9.. Cancellations: An application is a commitment to show,. The markets are held rain or shine. Refunds are rare and for extreme circumstances only. The decision will be made by the Steering Committee Phone 954-480-4430 or
